Job summary

PeopleStrong in Saudi Arabia is seeking a project scheduler to develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6. The role includes CPM analysis, look-ahead planning, and collaboration with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to track milestones and deliverables.

The candidate will prepare baseline and recovery schedules, update progress, and produce weekly/monthly reports, while identifying risks and proposing corrective actions within project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline, recovery, look-ahead, and revised programmes.
• Monitor progress against baseline and identify deviations.
• Collect progress updates from engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractor teams.
• Perform CPM analysis and identify critical and near-critical activities.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and key contractual dates.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports.
• Analyze schedule performance and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Prepare 2-week / 3-week / 4-week look-ahead schedules as required.
• Update resource loading, activity progress, remaining durations, and forecast dates.
• Coordinate with project teams to identify delays, constraints, and potential schedule risks.
• Support preparation of EOT (Extension of Time) and delay analysis documentation.
• Assist in developing recovery and mitigation plans for delayed activities.
• Review subcontractor schedules and monitor their performance against approved programmes.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure schedule data is accurate and up to date.
• Participate in progress meetings and provide scheduling updates to project management and clients.
