Job summary

EMEC KSA is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead planning, scheduling, and project-control for large- to mega-scale MEP projects in KSA. You will drive schedules, baselines, and progress reporting for senior management and clients.

You will manage resource loading, critical-path analysis, and delay analysis, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams. Saudi Council of Engineers certification is mandatory, and Primavera P6 proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 10–15 years of planning and project-controls experience.
• Proven experience on large- to mega-scale MEP projects in KSA or GCC.
• Saudi Council of Engineers certification is mandatory.
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and planning tools.
• Strong knowledge of MEP construction sequences and delay analysis.

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, baselines, recovery plans, and progress-monitoring systems.
• Monitor project performance, identify delays and risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, commercial, and construction teams.
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, forecasts, and presentations for senior management and clients.
• Manage resource and cost loading, schedule updates, and critical-path analysis.
• Support extension-of-time claims and delay analysis.
• Ensure project milestones are achieved in accordance with contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10-15 years of planning and project-controls experience.
• Proven experience delivering large- to mega-scale MEP projects in KSA or the GCC.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) certification is mandatory.
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and other planning/reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of MEP construction sequences, project controls, progress measurement, and delay analysis.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Candidates with strong experience in KSA-based projects will be preferred.
