Job summary

hudsonmanpower is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer – Mechanical to support project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Refinery projects in Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in mechanical construction, maintenance, shutdown and turnaround projects, with the ability to develop and monitor project schedules and coordinate effectively with site, engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, and HSE teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience as a Planning Engineer in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery EPC projects.
• Strong experience in Mechanical Construction / Maintenance projects.
• Shutdown & Turnaround planning experience.
• Experience with Primavera P6.
• Saudi Arabia / GCC experience preferred.
• Good English communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for mechanical activities.
• Prepare baseline, look-ahead, recovery schedules and progress updates.
• Monitor progress and identify delays and risks.
• Coordinate with Site Execution, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, and HSE.
• Prepare progress reports and planning dashboards.
• Track manpower, equipment, materials, productivity and resources.
• Support schedule risk and extension-of-time analyses.
