Job summary

Client of Brilliant Boss HR Consultancy is seeking a Project Planner for offshore jacket fabrication projects. The role involves developing and maintaining schedules, monitoring progress, and coordinating with PM, Engineering, Production, QC and Procurement teams to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in heavy industry shipyards or shipbuilding, offshore fabrication experience, and proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy industry shipyards or shipbuilding.
• Experience in Saudi Aramco jacket projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling and progress reporting.
• Experience in offshore structural fabrication projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain project schedules for offshore jacket fabrication projects.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify delays.
• Prepare planning reports, progress updates and schedule forecasts.
• Coordinate with PM, Engineering, Production, QC and Procurement teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Track project milestones and monitor critical activities.
• Support effective resource allocation and schedule recovery planning.
• Ensure project activities are completed according to approved timelines and project requirements.

• Ensure project activities are completed according to approved timelines and project requirements

Mandatory Requirements

• Previous experience in Heavy Industry Shipyards or Shipbuilding
• Previous experience in Saudi Aramco Jacket Projects
• Strong knowledge of project planning scheduling and progress reporting
• Practical experience in offshore structural fabrication projects
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project is preferred
