Job summary

iPS Powerful People (B Corp™) seeks an experienced Planning & Cost Control Lead for a major industrial project in Jubail. You will lead project services across planning, scheduling, cost management, forecasting, risk, and reporting.

You will establish baselines, monitor performance, conduct risk analysis, and coordinate with contractors and multidisciplinary teams to drive on-time, on-budget delivery across engineering, procurement, construction, and startup.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with a professional background in project planning.
• Experience managing planning for major capital projects and high-value construction contracts.
• PMP, APM, or equivalent accreditation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead project estimating, planning, scheduling, progress measurement, cost management, and forecasting.
• Establish and maintain project cost and schedule baselines, benchmarks, and control procedures.
• Monitor performance, identify trends and gaps, and develop recovery plans.
• Conduct Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis and support contingency setting.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and other project control reports.
• Coordinate project controls with contractors, Finance, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Review and approve contractor schedules and cost estimates.
• Oversee project control assurance activities and manage change control and contract variations.
• Lead and support the project services team, including lessons learned and project closeout reporting.

We are seeking an experienced Planning & Cost Control Lead for a major industrial project in Jubail. The successful candidate will lead project services across planning, scheduling, cost management, forecasting, risk, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project estimating, planning, scheduling, progress measurement, cost management, and forecasting.
• Establish and maintain project cost and schedule baselines, benchmarks, and control procedures.
• Monitor performance, identify trends and gaps, and develop recovery plans.
• Conduct Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis and support contingency setting.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and other project control reports.
• Coordinate project controls with contractors, Finance, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Review and approve contractor schedules and cost estimates.
• Oversee project control assurance activities and manage change control and contract variations.
• Lead and support the project services team, including lessons learned and project closeout reporting.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree and a professional background in project planning.
• Approximately 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in the Middle East, including KSA.
• Proven experience managing planning for major capital projects and high-value construction contracts.
• PMP, APM, or equivalent professional accreditation is essential.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Strong expertise in cost estimation and control, schedule development, critical path analysis, forecasting, trend analysis, and schedule risk analysis.
• Experience across the project lifecycle, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team coaching skills.
• Experience in metal processing, recycling, or refining is an advantage.
