Job summary

Jeddah Prep and Grammar School invites applications for a Teacher of Physics to support classroom teaching and pupil learning under the guidance of senior staff. The role includes safeguarding responsibilities and promoting pupil welfare within a diverse school environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree (Education or equivalent).
• 2–3 years preferred.
• Experience in international school environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils personal, social and health needs, ensuring safety and welfare.
• Supervise and engage pupils in learning tasks and activities.
• Provide 1:1 or small group support for withdrawn students.
• Build positive relationships and promote inclusion and independence.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation, displays and behaviour management.
• Maintain pupil records and report progress or concerns to teachers.
• Support curriculum delivery including literacy, numeracy and ICT activities.
• Prepare and manage classroom resources and equipment.
• Follow school policies on safeguarding, health, safety and confidentiality.
• Participate in meetings, training, supervision and educational visits.
