Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Knowledge of payroll systems and HR software.
• Understanding of labor laws, payroll regulations, and tax requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Professional payroll certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees.
• Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and statutory contributions.
• Verify attendance, timesheets, leave records, and payroll inputs.
• Maintain payroll records and data confidentiality.
• Prepare payroll reports for management, finance, and auditors.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance to resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Process new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and benefits in payroll system.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with month-end/year-end closing.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding salaries, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
• Support audits with required documentation.
• Review payroll processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
