Job summary

JASARA Program Management Company in Riyadh seeks a Parking Engineer to plan, design, operate and manage parking facilities and related traffic systems across residential, commercial and mixed-use projects.

You will optimize space, improve user experience, ensure regulatory compliance, and integrate smart mobility solutions, working with planners, engineers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in parking engineering, transportation planning, traffic engineering, or mobility management.
• Experience with parking studies, traffic impact assessments, and mobility planning.
• Professional Engineering registration or certification is an advantage.
• Specialized training in parking management, transportation planning, or mobility solutions is preferred.
• Experience on large-scale developments and mixed-use projects is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Urban Planning, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop parking strategies and designs for residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, and public developments.
• Design parking layouts, circulation routes, access points, and wayfinding systems.
• Conduct parking demand assessments and capacity analysis.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings for compliance with parking standards and regulations.
• Evaluate accessibility requirements including provisions for persons with disabilities.
• Analyze vehicle flow and develop traffic management plans to minimize congestion and improve safety.
• Coordinate parking operations with transportation and mobility initiatives.
• Support implementation of sustainable mobility solutions including EV charging infrastructure and shared mobility.
• Assess parking utilization rates and operational performance.
• Recommend improvements to maximize space efficiency and customer experience.
• Monitor parking occupancy trends and prepare forecasting models.
• Develop parking policies, pricing strategies, and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, municipal requirements and engineering standards.
• Conduct inspections of parking facilities and identify safety concerns.
• Review signage, markings, lighting and safety systems for compliance.
• Support health, safety and risk management initiatives.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of parking guidance systems and automated parking technologies.
• Analyze parking data and generate performance reports.
• Coordinate with vendors and technology providers for smart parking solutions.
• Utilize traffic simulation and parking analysis software for planning and optimization.

The Parking Engineer is responsible for the planning design operation and management of parking facilities and associated traffic systems The role focuses on maximizing parking efficiency improving user experience ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and supporting the integration of smart mobility solutions The Parking Engineer works closely with urban planners traffic engineers architects facility managers and project stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

Parking Planning amp Design

• Develop parking strategies and solutions for residential commercial mixed-use hospitality and public developments


• Design parking layouts circulation routes access points and wayfinding systems


• Conduct parking demand assessments and capacity analysis


• Review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with parking standards and regulations

Traffic amp Mobility Management

• Analyze vehicle flow and circulation within parking facilities


• Develop traffic management plans to minimize congestion and improve safety


• Coordinate parking operations with transportation and mobility initiatives


• Support implementation of sustainable mobility solutions including EV charging infrastructure shared mobility and public transport integration

Operations amp Performance Monitoring

• Assess parking utilization rates and operational performance


• Recommend improvements to maximize space efficiency and customer experience


• Monitor parking occupancy trends and prepare forecasting models


• Develop parking policies pricing strategies and operational procedures where applicable

Compliance amp Safety

• Ensure compliance with local regulations municipal requirements and engineering standards

Technology amp Smart Parking Systems

Stakeholder Coordination
