Packaging Quality Engineer

Job summary

Lenovo in Saudi Arabia is seeking a senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead local supplier audits, introduce new suppliers, and drive project quality for packaging materials and structural components.

You will solve mass production quality issues, follow up on quality status at customer sites, and apply ISO 9001 knowledge with strong analytical, communication, coordination and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Packaging Engineering/Materials/Chemical Engineering or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in the packaging materials or structural components industry such as quality control of packaging materials or supplier quality management in the mobile phone or tablet industry.
• Proficient in the characteristics, processes, and testing methods of packaging materials such as gift boxes, instruction manuals, and carton boxes familiar with quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
• Excellent analytical and judgment skills, communication and coordination abilities and project management capabilities with proficiency in using quality tools to solve problems.
• Good command of English in reading speaking and writing proficiency in Chinese is preferred.
