Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is actively hiring for a technical role in Riyadh region focusing on OT/ICS integration. The candidate will work across DCS, PLC, SCADA and OPC-UA environments, ensuring secure edge connectivity and reliable data exchange between OT and IT platforms.

Experience with industrial historian environments and familiarity with process control instrumentation and network security is required. The role is full-time and on-site in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• For must-have items, hands-on development and integration across DCS, PLC, SCADA, OPC-UA and industrial historian environments.
• Strong understanding of process control networks, tag structures, alarms/events, notifications, sampling and time synchronization.
• Experience configuring secure edge connectivity and real-time/historical data exchange between OT and IT.
• Knowledge of OT networks, zones/DMZs, firewalls, certificates, identity/access and disaster recovery.

Job Description:

Desired Competencies (Technical / Behavioral):

Must-Have:

• Hands-on experience with development and integration across DCS, PLC, SCADA, OPC-UA and industrial historian environments.
• Strong understanding of process control networks, tag structures, alarms/events, notifications, sampling and time synchronization.
• Experience configuring secure edge connectivity, real-time and historical data exchange between OT and IT platforms.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols, network segmentation, access control, backup/recovery and OT cybersecurity practices.
• Knowledge of OT networks, zones/DMZs, firewalls, certificates, identity/access, patching constraints and disaster recovery.
• Ability to troubleshoot data quality, latency, connectivity and availability issues in plant environments.
• Ability to interpret PFDs, P&IDs, control narratives, cause-and-effect diagrams, instrument indexes, datasheets and network drawings.

Good-to-Have:

• Refinery or continuous process industry experience.
• Exposure to AVEVA PI/Aspen IP21, edge analytics, MQTT or equivalent industrial integration technologies.
• Exposure to AI/ML or advanced analytics in OT.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, APIs, ISA-95 concepts.
• Relevant control, networking, cybersecurity, functional safety or commissioning certification.
