Job summary

Smart Resourcing International is seeking an Ophthalmology Consultant to join a Medina-based hospital in Saudi Arabia.

The incumbent will diagnose and manage ophthalmic conditions, perform comprehensive eye examinations, and provide medical and surgical treatment, while maintaining precise patient records and collaborating with other clinicians. Prior consultant-level experience and SCFHS registration are preferred.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD/MS/DNB in Ophthalmology or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification.
• Relevant/consultant qualification as applicable and SCFHS professional classification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage ophthalmic conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and clinical assessments.
• Provide appropriate medical and surgical treatment.
• Perform ophthalmic procedures according to area of expertise.
• Manage emergency ophthalmic cases when required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Work collaboratively with other medical professionals.
