Job Title:Operator AAS

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Alloy Addition System (AAS) Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for shift activities in the alloy addition area, ensuring safe operation practices.

Major Responsibilities & Duties
  • Check the availability of different production consumables on the shop floor.
  • Shift materials and consumables as required.
  • Fill required materials in respective silos by operating the conveyor system.
  • Maintain housekeeping in the work area.
  • Monitor equipment health during shifts and report any abnormalities immediately to the maintenance crew.
  • Follow safe working practices.
  • Coordinate with the shift production crew.
  • Perform any other job as instructed by the Shift Manager.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working practices.
Other Responsibilities
  • Strictly follow the organization's safety rules and HS&E Policy.
  • Maintain issued PPE in good and workable condition.
  • Report any PPE damages to the concerned authority.
  • Avoid any unsafe practices and report any unsafe conditions.
  • Attend scheduled safety training.
  • Participate in SBT / On-the-Job training / Tool Box Talks.
  • Implement and promote the STOP program.
  • Ensure standard practices are followed and report any deviations.
  • Maintain housekeeping in DRI belts and peripheral areas.
  • Work in General Shift / Shift Rota as per company requirements.
  • Be flexible to transfer to any production unit within the company as needed.
Supervision
  • Supervised by the Shift Foreman (AAS).
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of material handling
  • Ability to maintain housekeeping in the work area.
  • Understanding of work safety.
Qualifications
  • Secondary school / Elementary school education.
