Job summary

Starlinks Global is seeking an Operations Specialist to lead a team of operations staff, coordinating logistics, inbound/outbound activities, and inventory control. You will drive efficiency, train new members, and ensure safety and quality standards across all operations.

You will collaborate with logistics, procurement, and customer service to resolve issues, monitor performance metrics, and foster a culture of continuous improvement while upholding company policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.
• Experience leading operations staff and driving performance.
• Familiarity with quality assurance procedures and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the activities of operations staff to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members, including assigning tasks, setting priorities and monitoring performance.
• Train and onboard new team members, ensuring they understand their roles, responsibilities and safety procedures.
• Monitor workflow processes and identify opportunities for improvement in operational efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement and customer service to coordinate operational activities and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance procedures, safety regulations and company policies in all operational activities.
• Implement inventory control measures to maintain accurate stock levels and prevent inventory discrepancies.
• Lead warehouse operations including inbound and outbound logistics, stock movements and order processing.
• Oversee the handling of returns, including processing returns, restocking inventory and managing disposal.
• Monitor and report on operational performance metrics such as productivity, accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Address any operational issues or concerns raised by team members, customers or other stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment promoting teamwork, open communication and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members to support their development and growth.
• Implement cost management strategies to control operational expenses and optimize resource utilization.
• Lead by example demonstrating professionalism, integrity and a strong work ethic in all aspects of your role.
