Job summary

People Dynamics in Riyadh is seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant (Arabic) to join our Finance & Accounting team on site.

You will maintain accounting records, prepare reconciliations, monitor receivables and payables, and support tax and Zakat compliance in a fast-paced business environment.

The ideal candidate has a solid accounting background, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines in both Arabic and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in general accounting or finance functions.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of tax and Zakat regulations in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Professional accounting certification is an advantage (SOCPA, CMA, ACCA, CPA).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, record, and review daily journal entries in accordance with accounting standards.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and ensure all account balances are accurately maintained.
• Monitor and reconcile customer and supplier accounts, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Prepare periodic accounting and financial reports for management review.
• Review invoices, payments, and expenses to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Follow up on tax and Zakat filings and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and statutory requirements.
• Utilize accounting systems and ERP platforms to maintain financial records and generate management reports.
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and supporting records.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required information and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
