Job summary

WTS Energy in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Superintendent (Structural/Welding) to lead offshore fabrication, welding, and erection activities, ensuring compliance with project specs, codes, and safety standards. You will guide multifunctional teams and coordinate with engineering, planning, and QC to meet milestones.

The role requires 10–15 years of structural and welding experience on offshore projects, a related degree, and proven supervisory capability on complex marine construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related discipline.
• Professional certifications in welding inspection or welding management are preferred.
• Relevant welding and fabrication qualifications will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise structural fabrication, welding, assembly, and erection activities for offshore and marine projects.
• Coordinate daily production activities to ensure project milestones and schedules are achieved.
• Oversee welding activities in accordance with WPS/PQR and industry codes and standards.
• Coordinate with Quality Control regarding inspections, NDT, and acceptance criteria.
• Promote a strong safety culture and conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and pre-job briefings.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise foremen, supervisors, welders, fitters, and fabrication personnel.
