Qualifications

• Fresh graduates under SITP are acceptable.
• Quality: ISO 9001 awareness is preferable.
• HSE: ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 awareness is preferable.
• Familiarity with construction or oil & gas project environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that Project/Site HSE plans and procedures are properly implemented on site during operations.
• Report to the upper HSE referent on any HSE issues occurred on site.
• Liaise continuously with the workforce and supervision on HSE issues.
• Conduct internal HSE inspections and deliver HSE induction and training.
• Monitor HSE procedures implementation on operational sites.

Purpose of the position: As Offshore HSE Engineer you will be part of the HSEQ department within the Abser-Offshore business line. You will support the HSE team across assigned projects, ensuring compliance with the company, clients, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that Project/Site HSE plans and procedures are properly implemented on site during operations.
• Report to the upper HSE referent on any HSE issues occurred on site.
• Liaise continuously with the workforce and supervision on HSE issues.
• Conduct internal HSE inspections and deliver HSE induction and training, while keeping HSE procedures updated for specific tasks.
• Monitor HSE procedures implementation on operational sites, ensuring compliance with safety risk assessments and effective reporting of HSE performance indicators.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline (Engineering or equivalent)
• Minimum 0–3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates under SITP are acceptable)
• Basic knowledge of Quality / HSE management systems
• Quality: ISO 9001 awareness (preferable)
• HSE: ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 awareness (preferable)
• Familiarity with construction or oil & gas project environments is preferred

Technical Knowledge

• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
• Ability to work on onshore and/or offshore sites, as required by the project
• Computer literacy (MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

What else should you know?

You will have the opportunity to work on challenging offshore and onshore projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad. Travel to multiple project locations if required.
