Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Draftsman with offshore installation experience in shallow water. You will perform 2D drafting and simple 3D modeling tasks, using Tekla or similar CAD tools, ensuring QA/QC/HSE compliance and timely delivery of drawings and installation diagrams.

The role requires 5+ years in offshore projects, with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. You will interact with design leads and other draftsmen, advancing documentation during reviews and updates.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
5+ years of offshore installation experience in shallow water environments.
Experience with preparing and developing drawings and deliverables for offshore installations.
Knowledge of industry QA/QC procedures and HSE requirements.
Experience in using 2D drafting and 3D modeling tools such as Tekla or similar CAD software.

Responsibilities

Verify input information used for the work and flag anomalies to Designers/Engineers.
Carry out simple 3D modeling tasks using Tekla or similar CAD tools.
Prepare bill of materials / material take-offs for requisitions.
Ensure document quality through self-checks and sign-off.
Sign and inform modifications arising from documents produced.
Update documents after inter-discipline or external stakeholder reviews.
Apply the Quality Control Procedure during work.
