Job summary

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced trainer to deliver Naval Speciality Training, with a focus on Sonar Technician elements. You will support assessments, remedial training, and write trainee reports to meet customer requirements while maintaining high integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Naval Speciality Training curriculum and Sonar Technician elements.
• Support invigilation activities for assessments.
• Support remedial training activities.
• Write assessment materials.
• Support the continuous improvement of courseware materials and media.
• Write Trainee reports as required to meet customer requirements.
• Operate to a standard of absolute integrity and professionalism.
• Complete other reasonable requests by NST Management Team.

Job Purpose

BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force RSAF aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft equipment and weapons. Job Accountabilities

• Delivering Naval Speciality Training curriculum and in particular Sonar Technician specific elements
• Supporting invigilation activities for assessments
• Supporting remedial training activities
• Writing assessment materials
• Supporting the continuous improvement of courseware materials and media
• Writing Trainee reports as required to meet customer requirements
• The post holder will be expected to operate to a standard of absolute integrity and professionalism
• The post holder will ensure the completion of any other reasonable request by the NST Management Team which aligns with Company business

Recruitment Specification

Essential

• Graduate of advanced military trade school industrial equivalent or relevant educational establishment
• Successfully completed an accredited Instructional Techniques course
• Substantial practical experience in their speciality
• Recent instructional experience

Desirable

• Have completed a FACET training course
