Job summary

Quality Equipment Rental LLC Night Shift Security Guard role aims to keep the premises safe during overnight hours. You will patrol the premises, monitor access, and respond to incidents to protect people and assets.

Responsibilities include operating CCTV, logging activities, and enforcing company policies with professional conduct on a 24/7 schedule. Prior security or law enforcement experience is valued, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for report writing and monitoring security systems.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the premises regularly to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security risks.
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment.
• Control access to the facility by verifying visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, accidents, or suspicious activities.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs.
• Conduct opening and closing security checks as required.
• Ensure doors, gates, windows, and restricted areas are secure.
• Assist with emergency evacuations and follow emergency response procedures.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns to management.
• Maintain a professional and courteous presence while enforcing company policies and procedures.
