Morson Talent is looking for an NDI Specialist to join our prestigious client in Taif, Saudi Arabia. Please see all relevant details below if you are interested in this position.

Role Objective & Outline Responsibility

To undertake scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities of Non‑Destructive Inspection in support of Typhoon operations and in accordance with the RSAF Typhoon maintenance policy, ensuring that all Continuing Airworthiness and Maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with Saudi Arabia SALAM Maintenance Organisation Exposition and associated Quality Management System.

Main Responsibilities
  • Undertaking all NDI activities within the scope of the NDI test regime.
  • Ensuring all tasks are undertaken in accordance with company/RSAF procedures and processes.
  • Ensuring that all electronic data systems are utilized correctly within process and adhere to operating procedures.
  • Ensuring that all personnel engaged in activities in areas under his control follow correct engineering practices, observe safety precautions and, as far("-");
  • In the absence of the work centre supervisor, manage available manpower by coordinating with Specialist Supervisors to ensure aircraft generation.
  • Depth Management and customer general information is readily available either upon request.
  • Ensure all quality aspects of the tasks are complied with, to the highest standards.
  • Ensure shift handovers are carried out without ambiguity and daily diaries are maintained.
  • Ensure all tasks are undertaken in the specified timescales to support the AGF.
  • The prompt investigation of all components returned as defective, especially when subject to an incident report.
  • Ensure that all health and safety aspects of the task are fully complied with and that all necessary protective equipment is available, serviceable, and used on each relevant task.
  • Ensure all tasks are undertaken using the correct tooling and adherence tosampling control procedures are maintained.
Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • Recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline, or a technical apprenticeship, or suitable equivalent technical qualification acceptable to M&CA.
  • At least 5 years post qualification practical maintenance experience supported by formal recorded workplace applied related training.
  • Attained Specialist Level 2 NDI qualification (e.g. EN4179, ASNT, PCN) in at least 4 methods (PT, MT, ET and UT).
  • Leadership skills and proven ability to wf supervise all levels of engineering personnel.
Desirable
  • Thorough understanding of company processes and procedures.
  • Broad aerospace and defence company / industry knowledge.
  • Supervisory experience within the area of definition.
  • Understanding of RAF and/or RSAF engineering operating procedures.
  • Track record of meeting strict deadlines without compromising standards and quality.
  • Previous experience of delivering workplace training.
  • Understanding of ESS or similar electronic based reporting system.
  • Holds 2nd signature.

  • Demonstrate knowledge / understandingondra of aircraft maintenance and engineering.
  • Completed a recognised aircraft engineering apprenticeship in industry/military or similar qualification in aircraft systems.
Must have experience on fast‑jets
  • Must Have Specialist Level 2 NDI qualification (e.g. EN4179, ASNT, PCN) in at least 4 methods (PT, MT, ET and UT).
  • Experience in EASA Part 145 checking and maintenance procedures.
  • High level of interpersonal skill toLet's coordinate a number of activities and the ability to communicate and influence decision‑making.
