Job summary

NEARMOTION is seeking a Mobile Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain mobile apps that power our smart building and visitor engagement platform in Riyadh. You will implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure compatibility across iOS and Android.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver intuitive user experiences and robust app reliability. Join an on-site team focused on continuous improvement and high-quality mobile software.

Qualifications

• Experience in mobile app development and maintaining mobile apps.
• Experience with software design, testing, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of OOP and its use in mobile projects.
• Hands-on iOS development experience with relevant frameworks.
• Experience with Android or cross-platform frameworks (Flutter/React Native) is a plus.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and backend integration.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and use Git.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving, detail-oriented, and collaborative on-site work.
• Familiarity with UX/UI best practices for mobile apps and location-based services is beneficial.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mobile Application Developer role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Mobile Application Developer will design, develop, and maintain mobile applications that support NEARMOTION's smart building and visitor engagement platform. Daily responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing application performance, integrating APIs and backend services, and ensuring compatibility across different devices and operating systems. The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver intuitive user experiences, as well as troubleshooting issues, performing code reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of the mobile development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Mobile Application Development and experience building and maintaining Mobile Applications.
• Proficiency in Application Development practices, including software design, testing, and deployment.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their application in mobile projects.
• Hands-on experience with iOS Development and familiarity with relevant frameworks and tools.
• Experience with Android development or cross-platform frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and use version control systems such as Git.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
• Familiarity with UX/UI best practices for mobile applications and an interest in location-based services is beneficial.
