Job summary

Global Health Strategies is seeking a Consultant (full-time, on-site) to join the MENA Region team based in Riyadh, Dubai, or Cairo. The role covers content development, media relations, project delivery, event management, and stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer with organized project management skills and comfort working across strategic and delivery levels. Fluency in Arabic and English is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience at a PR agency, in public health communications, or health event planning.
• Proven experience writing and placing media pieces (op-eds, press releases, thought leadership).
• Strong project management experience across all phases of the project cycle.
• Established relationships with top-tier media and health/science journalists.
• Experience managing events end-to-end, including programming, speaker management, vendor management, and risk mitigation.
• Fluency in Arabic and English; French is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Client support and portfolio growth with day-to-day management.
• Contribute to business development through proposals, pitches, and capability decks.
• Stakeholder engagement with patient advocates, academics, policymakers, and health stakeholders.
• Manage project cycles from scoping to reporting; coordinate multiple workstreams.
• Lead end-to-end event delivery including programming, speakers, vendors, and budgeting.
• Draft and edit long-form pieces, op-eds, press releases, and thought leadership.
