Job summary

Nextracker is hiring a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical/Mechatronics) based in Saudi Arabia. You will ensure reliable operation, performance, and safety of all factory machines, leading preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement across the plant.

Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical, mechanical faults, coordinating with 3rd party contractors, maintaining maintenance schedules, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in industrial or factory maintenance.
• Experience maintaining/troubleshooting press machines, CNC, laser, drilling, tube mill, and slitting lines.
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation, PLCs, drives, motors, sensors, and control systems.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
• Familiarity with OSHA and ISO safety standards; experience with TPM/5S.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, preventive, and corrective maintenance for all machines and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Troubleshoot faults in PLCs, control systems, drives, motors, and automation panels.
• Ensure maximum equipment uptime with minimum downtime.
• Coordinate with production and QA to plan shutdowns and maintenance activities.
• Lead maintenance technicians and contractors, allocate tasks, and ensure procedures are followed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and equipment history.
