Job summary

MBRF Global Foods Company is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to manage all mechanical breakdowns within its facility in Jeddah. The role requires adherence to safety guidelines and active participation in PM, KPIs, and continuous improvement with the maintenance team.

The candidate will oversee corrective, preventive, and scheduled maintenance, coordinate with OEMs for spares, and support in major repairs of motors, gear switches, and other components, ensuring GMP, HACCP,

Qualifications

• Two-year technical course in mechanical trade or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on mechanical equipment and prevent failures.
• Coordinate with maintenance team for improvements and KAIZEN activities.
• Adhere to safety, health and environmental guidelines (HSE).
• Ensure GMP, HACCP, and 5S compliance in the workplace.
• Reduce mean time to repair (MTTR) and report anomalies in PM system.

Job Description

• Responsible for all Mechanical breakdowns in his area of responsibility.
• Check equipment and maintain to basic condition
• Ensure Mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality.
• Adhere to Corrective, Preventive, Scheduled Maintenance and Kanban system,
• Comply with safety guidelines and procedures. (HSE).
• Co-ordinate with Maintenance team for all continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure proper handling of chemical products.
• Comply with all HSE and food safety HACCP requirements and pre-requirements within the workplace.
• Comply with all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements within the workplace.
• Ensure GMP and 5S compliance within the workplace.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Process and Food Defense requirements, and other applicable procedure related to the scope of the job.
• Reduce the mean time of repair (MTTR) in the lines, through effective presence in the line.
• Analyze and report any anomalies, complete notifications M1, M2 and M3 in the PM system and confirm orders
• Reports faults and identifies requirement for overhauls, PM plan and spares
• Develop lesson plans for major trouble shooting cases using RCA
• Support to talk with OEM for spare and critical issues,
• Supports maintenance, Repair and troubleshooting, multiskilled expertices, MHE, Projects, Automation, Motors, etc.
• Perform duties as back up of immediate supervisor.
• Assist in team development plan and trainings,
• Perform overhauling of equipment’s, motors, switch gears and another component in the factory without supports.
• Identify local support, localization of spares and cost-effective ideas
• Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines, ensure adherence to BRF Sustainability Plan through activities in its routines that promotes compliance with the indicators and global ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments of the Company, ensuring the connection between its actions and sustainable development in the BRF chain.

Academic Background

2 Years Technical course in Mechanical Trade or any related field.
