Exact Technical Solutions Company seeks a Mechanical Engineer with on-site supervision experience in oil & gas projects. The role requires overseeing mechanical work, coordinating with civil/electrical teams, and ensuring compliance with specifications and safety procedures.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, experience with piping and mechanical activities, and proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Project.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise all mechanical work on site.
• Prepare daily reports and other site documentation.
• Monitor the works of mechanical subcontractors and ensure quality and schedule.
• Supervise the mechanical contractors' progress and ensure compliance with contract terms.
• Coordinate with civil and electrical teams to arrange work execution.
• Review and approve inspection requests on completion of work and payment documents.
• Check and approve received materials per BOQ, specs and approved lists.
• Review and initial approval of As-Built drawings before final submission.
• Ensure proper construction procedures and safe working practices on site.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise all mechanical work on site.
• Preparation of daily reports and any other site documentation.
• Monitor the works of the mechanical subcontractors (if any)
• Supervise the mechanical contractors' work progress and quality to ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, and time schedule
• Coordinate with civil and electrical teams to arrange work execution
• Review and approve inspection requests on the completion of work
• Review and approve payment documents
• Check and approve received material to ensure the required as per BOQ, specs and (vendor list or approved equal)
• Review, modify and initially approval of As-Built drawings before submitting them to technical office for final approval.
• Ensure that proper construction procedures are being followed.
• Prepare the required method statements.
• Notify the QA/QC Engineer and Client's representative when work is to be progressed for their joint inspection
• Implement safe working practices as per the Company's Health and Safety procedures
• Ensure that correct work processes are implemented to ensure work is completed as per specifications.
• Review Plant, Labor and Material allocations and advise Project Manager of any potential problems
• Supervising staff and site workers

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experienced in Piping & Mechanical activities in the Oil & Gas activities.
• Piping & mechanical background are must.
• Oil & Gas Construction Projects background is necessary.
• Experience in using supporting software like MS Office, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS project.
• Fluent in English.
• Good understanding sub & superstructure construction works.
• Communication & organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good grammar and technical report writing skills.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to change.
