We're currently hiring Mechanical Inspectors and Senior Mechanical Inspectors in KSA.

Job Description
  • Execute work in accordance with strict compliance of agreed inspection and test plan and to carry out quality inspections accordingly to ensure the integrity and compliance of the item with the requirements of international codes, standards, specifications and customers’ project specification requirements.
  • Perform pre-welding inspections such as review of WPS, ensuring its approval by reviewing the PQR. Verification of the welder qualifications.
  • Review the welding drawings and check the fit-up of assemblies ensuring that the fit-up parameters i.e. root gap, bevel angle, alignment etc. are in compliance with the drawing requirements.
  • Ensure the qualification of the welders in accordance with the positions being welded, the material being welded, and the filler metal being used.
  • Carry out painting coating inspections in accordance with the requirements of the agreed inspection and test plans, applicable standards and procedures.
  • Carry out visual inspection of the material, the blasting equipment and the abrasive material prior to commencing of blasting activity.
  • Carry out Inspection of applied and paint coating, verification of the thickness of the coating film in accordance with the requirements of the painting system.
  • Carry out the technical evaluations for the manufacturer facility for Mechanical and Steel Structural materials.
Qualifications
  • He/she shall be a vocational diploma graduate or equivalent.
  • Inspector(s) responsible for Non-destructive testing (NDE) qualified in accordance with the requirements specified in ASNT SNT-TC-1A, ISO 9712 or EN 473 Level II as a minimum.
  • Senior Inspectors should have 7-10 years of inspection experience in manufacturing plants, including 5 years of experience in the specific commodity and processes to be inspected.
  • Inspectors should have 3-7 years of inspection experience in manufacturing plants with 2 years experience in the specific commodity and processes to be inspected.
  • Fully conversant with applicable Industry standards, specifications, and fabrication methods and shall perform a variety of inspection functions with minimal supervision as required to verify vendor compliance with the purchase order requirements. Shall be able to read engineering drawings.
  • Possess sufficient knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements and implementation.
  • Inspector(s) responsible for inspection of painting and coating activities shall be certified by SSPC or NACE International or equivalent.
  • Inspectors responsible for inspection of metal welding shall be a Certified Welding Inspector CSWIP 3.1.
