Job description
Overview

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical QC Inspector with extensive exposure to Saudi Aramco projects to support construction-phase quality inspection and surveillance activities on large-scale Oil & Gas and Power Plant projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge of mechanical construction, international standards, and quality management systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform receiving material inspections, including verification, traceability, and clearance.
  • Conduct quality surveillance and inspection activities in line with approved ITPs.
  • Verify EPC contractors' construction activities comply with approved procedures and QC requirements.
  • Issue Site Inspection Reports (SIRs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely closure.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and monitor contractor quality performance.
  • Ensure inspection reports are signed immediately after inspections.
  • Verify availability and proper use of quality documentation at site.
  • Oversee quality activities carried out by EPC contractor QC teams.
  • Participate in site quality audits, quality meetings, and final punch listing activities.
  • Support review and approval of EPC contractor quality documents.
  • Coordinate and witness FAT and SAT activities.
  • Ensure correct use and calibration of measuring and testing equipment.
  • Ensure quality management system processes are implemented and maintained in accordance with ISO 9001.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree / HND / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering, Science, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 12 years of QC and inspection experience during the construction phase.
  • Mandatory Saudi Aramco project experience.
  • Proven experience in Oil & Gas and Power Plant projects.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical construction materials, methods, fabrication, and testing.
  • Excellent understanding of international codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Experience in ITP development and review.
  • Ability to perform inspection activities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
