Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for supervising, executing, and coordinating mechanical works on Saudi ARAMCO projects, ensuring full compliance with ARAMCO standards, project specifications, quality requirements, and HSE regulations. The role requires strong site experience, technical expertise, and prior hands-on involvement in ARAMCO-approved projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise mechanical construction and installation activities including piping, pressure vessels, static & rotating equipment, tanks, pumps, compressors, and HVAC systems (as applicable).
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi ARAMCO Engineering Standards (SAES), SAMSS, and project specifications.
  • Review and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, drawings, datasheets, BOQs, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC, planning, safety, and construction teams to meet project milestones.
  • Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, and subcontractor activities.
  • Participate in inspections, testing, commissioning, and mechanical completion activities.
  • Prepare method statements, work procedures, and daily/weekly progress reports.
  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards and ARAMCO permit-to-work systems.
Qualifications
  • Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • ARAMCO approval or proven ARAMCO project experience – Mandatory.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas / ARAMCO projects.
  • Strong experience in site execution and mechanical construction works.
  • Experience with EPC contractors is an advantage.
Technical Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of ARAMCO standards (SAES, SAMSS).
  • Experience in piping systems, equipment installation, and mechanical works.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
  • Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
Soft Skills
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  • Good reporting and documentation skills.
