Job summary

flyadeal is seeking an experienced MCC Controller to oversee daily operations, monitor aircraft health, and coordinate maintenance with field teams and engineers to ensure flight safety and on-time performance. The role requires extensive A320 systems knowledge, a type rating, and a strong grasp of GACA regulations.

You will act as the bridge between maintenance and operations, managing defects, MELs/NEFs, and priority actions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of aircraft certification experience with at least 5 years on A320 fleet.
  • 3+ years MCC experience is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of A320 aircraft systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Strong familiarity with GACA regulations and standard MS Office tools.
  • Proficient in coordinating defect troubleshooting and rectification activities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the Aircraft Health Monitoring System (Skywise) to identify defects.
  • Raise Maintenance Action Requests for troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with MCC/Line Planning/Line Maintenance and OEM for planning defects.
  • Coordinate with AOG Desk/Material Planning for parts availability.
  • Consult Engineering/OEM for instructions when procedures are inadequate.
  • Review Deferred Defects/ NEFs on alternate days.
  • Identify relevant TSM and raise MAR or open Work Orders.
  • Track maintenance actions and confirm defect clearance in Skywise.
  • Provide feedback to Engineering on recurrent defects.
  • Assist in preparing Daily Aircraft Status Reports.
  • Attend Daily Meetings to update aircraft status to stakeholders.
  • Assist in analyzing delays and compiling Delay Reports.
  • Record delays and compile Monthly Dispatch Reliability Reports.
  • Maintain aircraft deferred defects at agreed MEL/NEF levels.
  • Prepare and distribute daily/weekly/monthly operational reports.
  • Communicate status updates with IOCC and other stakeholders.
  • Identify gaps, propose process improvements and optimizations.

Job description

The MCC Controller plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operations of aircraft. Responsibilities include monitoring the technical status of aircraft, coordinating maintenance activities with field teams and engineers, and providing prompt solutions to technical issues to ensure flight safety and adherence to schedules. The MCC Controller acts as a vital link between maintenance departments and operational teams to minimize aircraft delays and enhance fleet performance.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the Aircraft Health Monitoring System (Skywise) to identify existing defects and repetitive defects.
  • Raise Maintenance Action Requests for troubleshooting and rectification of defects.
  • Coordinate with MCC Controller/Line Planning/Line Maintenance and Contracted Maintenance Organization for planning defects troubleshooting and rectification.
  • Coordinate with AOG Desk/Material Planning for availability of required materials for defects rectification.
  • Coordinate with Engineering/OEM for technical instructions in cases where existing procedures are not adequate to rectify any defect.
  • Review all Deferred Defects/ NEFs on alternate days.
  • identify the relevant TSM and raise MAR or used open Work Order to initiate rectification action.
  • Follow maintenance actions taken on aircraft, continuously monitors Skywise to confirm whether the defect is cleared.
  • Provide feedback to Engineering when defects and system failures are recurrent or repetitive.
  • Assist in preparing Daily Aircraft Status Reports.
  • Attend Daily Meeting to provide Aircraft Status to all stakeholders and discuss further actions.
  • Assist in analyzing aircraft delays and compiling Delay Reports.
  • Keep record of aircraft delays and to compile Monthly Technical Dispatch Reliability Reports for Management review.
  • Maintain the aircraft to agreed levels of deferred defects (MELs and NEFs)
  • Prepare, review, and distribute daily/weekly/monthly reports based on accumulated operational data.
  • Constant and precise communication with IOCC to share and understand operational status and effects.
  • Timely status update events including delays and AOGs to various stakeholders and management.
  • identify gaps in processes and be able to present ideas and procedures to overcome the identified shortcomings.
  • Constantly evaluate and propose enhancements and techniques to optimize department operation.
Requirements
  • License with type rating on a320/cfm56+leap1a Minimum Level 3 Airbus A320/Cfm56+Leap 1a Training.
  • A minimum of 07 years of aircraft certification experience, out of which, at least 05 years on a320 fleet.
  • A minimum of 03 years of MCC experience.
  • Extensive Knowledge of A320 Aircraft Systems.
  • Advance Level Knowledge of GACA Regulations.
  • Well versed with airnavx, airman and standard MS office suite of applications
