Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Material Flow Engineer to optimize in-plant logistics, from inbound to warehouses, kitting, and lineside feeding. You will design efficient layouts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive production excellence.

The role requires a degree in an engineering field and 5+ years in automotive or material flow, with 1–2 years in supervision; experience with AutoCAD, simulation tools, and lean methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and 5 years of professional experience.
• 4–7 years of experience in automotive industry or material flow engineering.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
• Proficiency with Lean Manufacturing systems (TPS, WCM).
• Exposure to automation technologies and logistics data analysis.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Understanding of sustainability practices in packaging.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with logistics engineering to analyze, design, and optimize in-plant systems.
• Lead initiatives in network design, capacity planning, and cost-to-serve modeling.
• Design warehouse layouts and material handling systems using AutoCAD and simulations.
• Evaluate and implement automation technologies to boost productivity.
• Coordinate with operations, IT, procurement, and 3PLs.
• Manage RFPs and investments for logistics assets and site expansion.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement and Kaizen events.
• Support new product introductions and plant launches with scalable solutions.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and sustainability in logistics.
