Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Marketing & Communication Executive to join our dynamic team in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. As a key player in our marketing department, you will have the exciting opportunity to promote one of the world's most captivating cultural and historical destinations. This role combines creativity with strategic thinking to develop and implement effective communication strategies that elevate our brand and drive tourism growth in this unique location.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communication campaigns aligned with our organization's goals and AlUla's unique cultural offerings
  • Create compelling content for various platforms, including website, social media, brochures, and press releases
  • Manage and optimize our digital presence, including social media channels and website content
  • Coordinate with PR teams to organize media visits, influencer collaborations, and press events
  • Collaborate with local tourism boards, cultural institutions, and stakeholders to promote AlUla's attractions
  • Analyze campaign performance, marketing ROI, and social media engagement to inform future strategies
  • Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and accurately represent AlUla's rich heritage
  • Support the organization and promotion of cultural events, exhibitions, and seasonal tourism campaigns
  • Maintain relationships with external agencies and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of projects
  • Stay updated on Saudi Arabian tourism trends and incorporate them into marketing initiatives
Qualifications

  • Strong digital marketing knowledge and proven experience in social media management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative mindset with a good understanding of branding and visual aesthetics
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and adjust marketing strategies accordingly
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabian culture and the local marketing landscape
  • Familiarity with tourism and hospitality industry trends, particularly in cultural and heritage tourism
  • Adaptability and willingness to work flexible hours as required by events and campaigns
  • Passion for promoting cultural heritage and creating impactful storytelling
Additional Information

Experience is an asset. Prior experience working with Opera or a related system. Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities. Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
