Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Manager - Design Governance to oversee and enhance design governance frameworks within the Design Excellence department. The role entails ensuring project compliance, quality standards, and alignment with QIC’s objectives.
The successful candidate will develop processes, conduct audits, and prepare reports to support continuous improvement. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and Power BI, and the ability to mentor junior team members.
The Manager - Design Governance is a senior member of the vertical sitting within the Design Excellence (DEx) department within CDU Design Governance. They are responsible for implementing and maintaining design governance frameworks that ensure consistency, quality and compliance across all Qiddiya (QIC) projects.
The design governance vertical of DEx acts as a custodian of design principles, ensuring alignment of the designs with QIC objectives and unique identity. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams and their counterparts in various Business Units to monitor and ensure adherence to established governance processes, and will help drive continuous improvement of the department and established design practices by feeding back any encountered adoption issues to other DEx verticals.
Key duties include developing and implementing QIC-wide processes for reviewing and monitoring projects, ensuring adherence to Board-approved CGIs and imagery, including concept and interior designs.
Other responsibilities: Create, update, and maintain a centralized repository of dated board-approved CGIs for reference and compliance tracking; conduct systematic audits and coordinate with DEx teams across business units to ensure compliance with approved designs, identify discrepancies; collaborate with design, project management and other governance teams to embed design standards and resolve compliance issues.
Prepare reports on compliance status, audit findings and recommendations for continuous improvement in design governance; define clear workflows for design governance reviews, approvals and escalation procedures; coordinate with DEx teams across business units to identify discrepancies and enforce corrective actions; develop compliance dashboards and reporting mechanisms for leadership visibility; utilize advanced digital tools (Excel, Power BI) to analyze datasets and create visual dashboards that support informed, data-driven decision-making; mentor and guide junior team members in project coordination, document preparation and analytical tasks.
