Job summary

Management Solutions International (MSI) is seeking a senior Contracts Lead to govern end-to-end contract management for MRO projects. You will drive pre-contract and execution phases, support bid preparation, and interface with stakeholders to ensure compliant, timely contractual delivery that protects organizational interests and enhances project performance.

You will lead the contract administration team, review terms for regulatory compliance, manage change orders, and drive risk mitigation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree requirement in Business Administration.
• Professional certifications in Contracts/Dispute Management (CCCM, CPCM, CFCM).
• Extensive contract management experience, including claims and disputes.
• Experience in shipyard operations or similar heavy-industry project environments.

Job description

To lead and govern the end-to-end contract management process across pre-contract and execution phases of MRO projects; supporting bid preparation, interfacing with relevant stakeholders, and overseeing all prime and subcontract administration by providing expert contractual guidance to OPS project teams and coordinating with company’s centralized Contracting Department, in order to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely contractual delivery that protects organizational interests, strengthens project performance, and enhances operational efficiency.

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead and develop the project/operations contract administration team to ensure consistently high-quality contract management outputs and strengthened governance across all projects.
• Oversee and approve all contract terms, conditions, and specifications to ensure the accuracy, clarity, and full regulatory compliance of all contractual commitments.
• Monitor contract execution and milestone performance to ensure on-time delivery of obligations and early identification and correction of any deviations.
• Maintain a complete and audit-ready contract documentation system that ensures accuracy, version integrity, and full traceability of all contractual records.
• Drive the change order evaluation and approval process to ensure timely assessment of scope, cost, and schedule impacts and efficient closure of all change order requests.
• Implement and manage contract compliance tracking mechanisms to ensure adherence to all contractual obligations and prompt resolution of compliance gaps with concerned departments.
• Lead the resolution of contractual disputes and claims to ensure fair, timely settlements and reduced recurrence through improved controls and preventative measures.
• Act as the primary contract liaison to strengthen stakeholder relationships and ensure clear, accurate, and timely communication throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks through proactive risk assessment and implementation of controls that reduce exposure and protect project and organizational interests.
• Drive continuous improvements in contract management practices by identifying inefficiencies and implementing enhancements that improve operational efficiency and transparency.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree or in Business Administration from an accredited university or a similar field.
• Professional certification in Contracts / Dispute Management such as CCCM, CPCM, CFCM.
• Accreditation in Legal, Commercial Law/Construction Law and Arbitration.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in contract management (including claims and dispute resolution), minimum 5 years of which is in supervisory/managerial capacity.
• Proven experience in contract administration or contract management, in the shipyard industry.
• Proven experience in shipyard operation and project management processes is preferred.
