Job summary

D R ALLEN & SON INC is seeking a General Laborer/Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting in Saudi Arabia. The role involves operating machinery such as a cutting saw, wrapper, tumbler, and cuber, and safely handling forklift operations to move and organize inventory.

You will support inventory preparation, labeling, and timely reporting while maintaining clean work areas and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate (written and verbal) in English (full proficiency is a plus).
• Able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
• Work independently and diligently with minimal directions to complete tasks on schedule.
• Communicate well with team members and supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery (startup, operate, shutdown, cleanup) in a safe manner: Manual splitter, cutting saw, wrapper, tumbler, cuber.
• Operate forklift safely: Organize materials, move inventory, recycling, housekeeping.
• Process inventory (stacking, wrapping, strapping, labeling, recycling): Stock preparation, “make”/ special orders, product testing, marketing samples, customer loading.
• Maintain work areas: Keep storage locations, inventory, loading areas, material transfer areas, product return areas clean and organized.
• Perform minor maintenance activities: Inspection, operator maintenance and cleaning on forklifts, machinery and support equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely reporting and recordkeeping: Inventory data sheets, customer orders, non-conformance reports, inspection logs.
• Be an effective team member: Wear PPE, follow policies, assist co-workers, work to production schedule, adapt to shift changes.
• Other Duties as assigned.
