Qualifications

• Must be an Indian national with a valid passport.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
• High school diploma or equivalent (Library Science degree is preferred).
• No experience required - on-the-job training will be provided.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the librarian in cataloging and classifying books, periodicals, and other materials.
• Maintain the library's collection by shelving and organizing books.
• Help patrons locate materials and provide basic reference services.
• Process new library materials by covering books, labeling, and adding security tags.
• Assist with inventory management and conducting periodic stock checks.
• Keep the library clean, tidy, and free from obstruction.
• Provide support during library events such as book fairs or exhibitions.
