Provide timely legal support to ensure compliance, resolve legal matters efficiently, and minimize legal and financial risks to the TAWAL projects.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Providing legal advice on Site Lease contractual issues.
- Excellent communication and writing skills with internal and external counterparts.
- Consistently update the database(s) and utilize cases & contracts management tools effectively and efficiently to monitor cases and track contract deadlines and expiration dates.
- Undertaking compliance checks and ensuring that compliance procedures are followed.
- Investigate and assess various risks that may affect corporate operations and choices.
- Keep up to date with any changes to the laws or regulations in jurisdictions that impact the business, and implement, construct, and maintain procedures and documents, as necessary.
- Review and endorse the lease contracts between the company and Landlords.
- Assist Legal in document preparation as requested by the management
- Completing a final review of full document packages for compliance/accuracy prior to sending them out for Tawal’s signature.
- Serve as a liaison between the site lease and legal for all documentation package compliance needs.
- Respond to email inquiries regarding contracts from internal departments.
- Prepare forms, support letters, and other documents accurately according to information received from the management.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi laws, regulations, and contractual requirements
- Contract review and legal drafting
- Claims, disputes, and legal issue management
- Risk identification and legal/commercial assessment
- Experience with landlord, municipality, permit, and government-related matters
- Strong written and verbal Arabic and English
- Negotiation and stakeholder management
- Ability to prepare formal legal correspondence and notices
- Strong documentation, tracking, and reporting skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities within agreed timelines
- High level of confidentiality, integrity, and attention to detail
- Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and Excel
