Job summary

Qureos is seeking a Lead Technician to head daily MEP maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the facility. The role demands hands-on expertise, strong troubleshooting ability, and effective team leadership to ensure safe and timely completion of PPM and CM tasks.

You will lead technicians, allocate daily tasks, and ensure adherence to maintenance procedures while maintaining system reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certification in mechanical, electrical, electromechanical or related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Facilities Management or MEP Maintenance.
• GCC/KSA maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance activities for all MEP systems.
• Execute preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance works.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed according to approved schedules.
• Attend and resolve equipment breakdowns within agreed response times.
• Ensure proper operation of all critical building systems.
• Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting on MEP equipment.
• Identify root causes of recurring issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead technicians and allocate daily tasks and monitor progress.
• Monitor productivity and ensure quality workmanship and adherence to maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate with FM Engineer regarding pending activities and CAFM updates.

Key Responsibilities

1. MEP Maintenance Operations

• Perform and supervise maintenance activities for all MEP systems.

• Execute preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance works.

• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed according to approved schedules.

• Attend and resolve equipment breakdowns within agreed response times.

• Ensure proper operation of all critical building systems.

2. Technical Troubleshooting

• Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting on MEP equipment.

• Identify root causes of recurring issues and recommend corrective actions.

• Support technicians in resolving complex technical problems.

• Ensure minimal downtime of critical assets and equipment.

4. Team Leadership

• Lead and supervise technicians and assistants.

• Allocate daily tasks and monitor work progress.

• Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to maintenance procedures.

• Provide on‑the‑job training and technical guidance.

• Monitor productivity and work performance of maintenance staff.

5. PPM & Work Order Management

• Ensure 100% completion of assigned PPM schedules.

• Update maintenance records and work order status.

• Coordinate with FM Engineer regarding pending activities.

• Verify closure of maintenance tasks in CAFM systems.

• Assist in preparing maintenance reports.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, or related field.

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Facilities Management or MEP Maintenance.
