Job summary

Qureos Inc in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Lead Technician to lead daily maintenance of MEP systems across the facility. You will supervise technicians, plan tasks, and ensure safe, timely completion of preventive and corrective work.

The role requires hands-on expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and ELV/BMS systems, with strong problem-solving and leadership skills to maintain critical building services and drive maintenance quality.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, or related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Facilities Management or MEP Maintenance.
• GCC/KSA maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance of all MEP systems in the facility.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance per schedules.
• Troubleshoot faults and identify root causes in MEP equipment.
• Manage and train maintenance staff; allocate tasks and monitor progress.
• Ensure completion of PPM schedules and accurate CAFM records.

Position Summary

The Lead Technician shall be responsible for leading and supervising daily maintenance activities related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within the facility. The role requires strong hands‑on technical expertise, troubleshooting capability, team leadership skills, and the ability to ensure all Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities are completed safely, efficiently,

Key Responsibilities

1. MEP Maintenance Operations

• Perform and supervise maintenance activities for all MEP systems.
• Execute preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance works.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed according to approved schedules.
• Attend and resolve equipment breakdowns within agreed response times.
• Ensure proper operation of all critical building systems.

2. Technical Troubleshooting

• Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting on MEP equipment.
• Identify root causes of recurring issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Support technicians in resolving complex technical problems.
• Ensure minimal downtime of critical assets and equipment.

3. Systems Knowledge

• Allocate daily tasks and monitor work progress.
• Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to maintenance procedures.
• Provide on‑job training and technical guidance.
• Monitor productivity and work performance of maintenance staff.

5. PPM & Work Order Management

• Ensure 100% completion of assigned PPM schedules.
• Update maintenance records and work order status.
• Coordinate with FM Engineer regarding pending activities.
• Verify closure of maintenance tasks in CAFM systems.
• Assist in preparing maintenance reports.
