Job summary

Foodics is seeking an experienced ML/AI engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of ML/GenAI models powering core Foodics products. You will collaborate with Data Engineers, Product Managers, and Platform teams to deliver production-grade models with real impact.

You will own end-to-end model lifecycle, implement MLOps best practices, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring models integrate smoothly with backend services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in applied ML, AI, or data science.
• Strong Python and ML libraries proficiency.
• Experience with MLOps and deploying models in production.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end ML model lifecycle from problem framing to monitoring.
• Design scalable ML/GenAI solutions.
• Implement MLOps practices: versioning, testing, observability, CI/CD for models.
• Collaborate with squads to ensure reusability and standards.
• Mentor junior ML engineers and contribute to knowledge base.
• Integrate models with APIs and backend services.
