Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 2-5 years of drill bits experience, preferably in design.
• Experience with 3D CAD systems.
• Awareness of FEA and CFD principles.
• Ability to select engineering techniques and use analysis tools.
• Familiarity with mechanical component designs and applied methods.
• Drive consistent usage of product design standards.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Create drill bit design and manufacturing packages using 3-D modelling and data management systems.
• Interface with product line management, operations, manufacturing and technology groups to improve product performance and process efficiency.
• Document and share lessons learned with cross-functional groups.
• Support manufacturing with problem solving and issue resolution.
• Conduct all activities in line with HSE, quality, legal compliance and cultural pillars.
