Job summary

Pace | Architecture, Engineering + Planning is seeking a Contract Administrator for a major construction project in Jeddah. You will lead contract administration, advise on approaches, and ensure compliance with contractual terms and relevant regulations.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in large-scale projects in Saudi Arabia/GCC, strong negotiation and organizational skills, and fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).

Qualifications

• 20 years of experience in contract administration.
• Extensive experience in construction supervision for large-scale infrastructure and/or mega projects, preferably in Saudi Arabia or GCC region.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison to resolve conflicts related to contract terms.
• Main point of contact between stakeholders and contractors for contractual matters.
• Address discrepancies arising from contract performance and work with parties to resolve them.
• Assess and process changes to contract scope including variations and additional works.
• Collaborate with finance and project teams to track payments and cost management.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure progress aligns with contract schedule.
• Ensure contracts comply with local, national, and international regulations and codes.
• Ensure compliance with insurance, bonds, warranties, and other legal requirements.
• Document and execute change orders with all parties’ agreement.
• Identify contractual risks and advise mitigation strategies.
• Maintain records of contract correspondence, change orders, and amendments.
• Monitor cost adjustments and proper documentation.
• Monitor contract performance and obligations of all parties.
• Prepare reports on contract status, risks, and disputes for senior management.
• Provide regular updates on financial status, risks, and contract performance.
• Support resolution of disputes through negotiation, mediation, or legal avenues.
