Job summary

Power International Holding (PIH) in Saudi Arabia seeks a Lead BIM Engineer to drive BIM processes across design and construction phases, coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors to maximize efficiency and documentation. You will lead model coordination meetings, produce shop drawings, and support material and crew planning with strong BIM software expertise.

Role requires minimum 8 years of experience, including 5 years in relevant BIM roles, and

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software such as Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360 to lead BIM processes.
• Extensive knowledge of architectural and engineering principles with BIM methodologies for collaboration.
• Strong understanding of project requirements to create and manage BIM models for decision-making.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to oversee BIM teams and stakeholders.
• ERP knowledge, SAP is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of work experience; 5 years relevant; GCC experience is a plus.

• Coordinate models with internal and subcontractor detailers and modellers; record coordination sign-offs.
• Process shop drawing level models for approval.
• Assist project team with construction coordination and scheduling.
• Print drawing sets for team review.
• Support client to calculate quantities for material orders and crew work planning.
• Prepare 3D models and dimension shop drawing sheets for field use and review.
• Timely and accurate preparation of BIM models, shop drawings, etc. - provide daily and weekly timesheets.

The Lead BIM Engineer assists the Manager as a project team member, interacting with project owners,architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors to develop and analyze the virtual construction process inorder to maximize construction efficiency, job cost savings, as well as enhance project documentation anddelivery.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of project requirements and objectives to create and manage BIM models that accurately represent design intent and support decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Excellent communication and leadership skills to oversee BIM teams, coordinate with project stakeholders, and ensure alignment between BIM processes and project goals.

Problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve technical challenges related to BIM implementation, ensuring smooth project execution and delivery of high-quality design outcomes.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
