Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Land Surveyor in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The candidate will carry out precise surveying works to support construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications. Responsibilities include performing various surveys, establishing control points, and coordinating with teams. Overview

The Land Surveyor will be responsible for carrying out accurate surveying works to support construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.


Responsibilities


  • Perform topographic, boundary, and construction surveys as per project needs

  • Establish and verify horizontal and vertical control points

  • Conduct setting-out works for roads, utilities, structures, and buildings

  • Ensure accuracy of levels, alignments, and coordinates during construction

  • Review and interpret approved drawings, survey data, and benchmarks

  • Coordinate with site engineers, design teams, and contractors

  • Check contractor survey works and verify compliance with project standards

  • Prepare and submit survey reports, as-built drawings, and records

  • Ensure all survey equipment is calibrated and properly maintained

  • Follow HSE requirements and site safety procedures at all times


Qualifications


  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying / Civil Engineering or related field

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in land surveying

  • Prior experience in infrastructure / road / utilities projects

  • Experience working with consultants or PMC preferred

  • Proficiency in survey instruments such as Total Station, GPS, Auto Level

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar software

  • Good understanding of Saudi standards and local authority requirements

  • Valid SCE registration (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Candidate must be currently in KSA or willing to relocate to Jeddah
