Job summary

Rain Stella Technologies is seeking a hands-on Lab Integration Engineer to support hospital-based laboratory integration projects in Saudi Arabia. You will connect analyzers and medical devices to our lab middleware, configure device connectivity, map test codes, and ensure reliable data flow between devices, middleware, and LIS/HIS systems.

This 3–6 month contract involves working on-site in hospitals and reference laboratories, with potential extension based on project needs.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience with laboratory analyzers, medical devices, or lab integration.
Experience connecting instruments to middleware/LIS/HIS.
Strong understanding of RS-232, TCP/IP, device connectivity, and networking.
Troubleshooting in live hospital environments and cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent communication with lab technicians and hospital teams.
Fluent English and strong Arabic; Arabic fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and commission lab middleware nodes in hospital and lab environments.
Connect analyzers using RS-232, TCP/IP, file-based interfaces, and other methods.
Configure and troubleshoot communication between analyzers, middleware, LIS, and HIS platforms.
Support device testing, implementation, commissioning, and go-live activities across hospital projects.
Collaborate with lab technicians, hospital IT teams, and stakeholders to resolve onsite issues.
Map analyzer test codes and ensure accurate, reliable data flow.
Provide field feedback to product/engineering to improve middleware tools and deployment processes.
