Job summary

Goahead Consulting is seeking an experienced L3 Cisco Wireless Network Engineer for a long-term government project in Riyadh. You will own enterprise wireless design, deployment, and security across government facilities, focusing on WLCs, APs, RF optimization, and advanced troubleshooting to deliver reliable connectivity and high availability.

The role requires 5–8 years in enterprise networks, transfer of IQAMA, and on-site Riyadh work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Telecommunications, IT, or related field.
• 5–8 years’ enterprise network engineering with wireless.
• L3 Cisco Wireless / WiFi expertise with hands-on experience.
• Solid knowledge of WLCs, AireOS, IOS-XE, and Catalyst wireless platforms.
• Strong English communication and executive stakeholder presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise Cisco wireless networks across government facilities.
• Provide expert L3 troubleshooting, incident resolution, and RCA for complex wireless issues.
• Configure, manage, and optimize WLCs, lightweight APs, and mobility architectures.
• Perform RF planning, site surveys, channel optimization, and coverage tuning.
• Implement robust enterprise wireless security: 802.1X, RADIUS, and ISE integration.
• Monitor performance: throughput, client associations, airtime utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT, cybersecurity, and client teams.
• Maintain documentation of wireless topologies, configurations, and runbooks.
