Responsibilities

• Reviews inquiry files to ensure complete information; directs proposal preparation and sets targets for completion.
• Critically analyzes draft proposals in relation to text, costing, commercial details, and client specifications.
• Liaises with Engineering, Sales and other departments, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to obtain input for optimal proposals.
• Keeps abreast of developments in technology, process, and market; shares knowledge with other engineers; contributes to departmental objectives.
• Participates in technical meetings with clients, vendors, and sub-contractors and performs related duties.

Job Description

Main tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Reviews inquiry files to ensure that complete information is available; provides direction and advice as to proposal preparation; sets targets for completion and follows up activities to ensure satisfactory progress.
• Critically analyzes all draft proposals in relation to the text, costing, commercial details, and compliance with client specifications, internal and external technical and quality standards.
• Liaises with the Engineering, Sales and other departments, also with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to obtain the input required to produce the optimum proposal
• Keeps abreast of developments in the technology, process, and the market; shares knowledge with other engineers; contributes to the overall departmental objectives.
• Participates in technical meetings with the client, vendors, and sub-contractors as required; performs any other duties related to his area of expertise.

• Liaise with the internal or external interested parties during the QHSE audits/inspections

• Ensure the implementation of customer satisfaction requirements
• Ensure to report Incidents (near misses, unsafe conditions, unsafe actions &, etc.)
• Keep the documented information as evidence ensuring the compliance to QHSE Management System.
