Job summary

PPOAR in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will transport passengers to destinations safely and punctually, with a strong emphasis on customer service and road knowledge of the local area.

The role requires flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, and the ability to adapt to changing traffic conditions while maintaining a clean, well-maintained vehicle and assisting with luggage when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of Jeddah roads, streets and landmarks.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
• At least 1 year of driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
• Maintain the vehicle clean inside and out.
• Follow assigned routes and adhere to schedules.
• Assist with loading/unloading luggage when needed.
• Respect traffic laws, signs, safety regulations and speed limits.
• Report mechanical problems or incidents encountered.
• Ensure passenger safety by giving helpful instructions during trips.
• Monitor weather conditions to select safest route.
• Respond to customer inquiries about services offered by the company.
