Job summary

Golden Elite Catering Services - GECS is seeking an IT System Administrator to manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-user devices. The role requires strong knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Odoo ERP administration.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of experience, familiarity with virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V) and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), and solid troubleshooting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as an IT System Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and networking.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP administration and user support.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper‑V) preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure or AWS) is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, or CompTIA) are a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, workstations, and end-user devices.
• Install, configure, and support Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and business applications.
• Monitor system performance and ensure availability, reliability, and security of IT services.
• Administer Active Directory, user accounts, email services, permissions, and access controls.
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and VPN connectivity.
• Administer and support the company's Odoo ERP system, including user management, system configuration, troubleshooting, and coordination with external vendors.
• Provide technical support to Odoo ERP users and ensure the system operates efficiently to support business operations.
• Perform system backups and ensure disaster recovery and business continuity procedures are in place.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
• Provide technical support to employees and deliver excellent IT services across the organization.
• Manage IT assets, software licenses, and inventory.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, procedures, and configurations.
• Support IT projects, infrastructure upgrades, and future technology initiatives
