Job summary

A leading engineering and design firm located in Riyadh is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide both on-site and remote IT support. Responsibilities include managing IT infrastructure, supporting project staff with IT needs, and maintaining documentation and IT asset registers. The ideal candidate has a degree in IT or Computer Science and experience in IT support, particularly in project environments. Strong knowledge of Windows OS and good English communication skills are essential, with Arabic being an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting project-based environments and site offices.

Job description

Overview

The IT Support Specialist will provide on-site and remote IT support in Riyadh. The role supports day-to-day IT operations, ensures system availability, and maintains secure, reliable IT services.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level IT support to PMCM project staff for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and site IT equipment.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, operating systems, and project applications used on RCRC projects.
• Support and troubleshoot network connectivity, internet, VPN access, email systems, and remote connections.
• Manage user accounts and access rights in coordination with PMCM and RCRC IT requirements.
• Maintain and support document control and collaboration platforms (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, ProjectWise, or similar).
• Ensure proper functioning of site offices IT infrastructure, including servers, switches, routers, Wi-Fi, and printers.
• Respond to IT service requests and incidents, ensuring timely resolution in line with agreed SLAs.
• Coordinate with RCRC IT teams and third-party vendors for issue resolution, system integration, and approvals.
• Implement and monitor IT security measures, including antivirus protection, data backups, and compliance with cybersecurity policies.
• Maintain accurate IT asset registers, licenses, and support documentation.
• Provide basic IT induction and user guidance to new PMCM staff joining the project.

Qualifications
