Job summary

Qiddiya is seeking an experienced IT Security Architect to plan, design, and implement secure IT architectures and infrastructure solutions across corporate environments.

You will partner with architecture, infrastructure, and application teams to embed secure-by-design practices, translate requirements into scalable patterns, and support security governance and testing. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of security architecture experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Security, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, research, and design security architecture for IT systems
• Translate security requirements into scalable and reusable security design patterns
• Coordinate security design activities with architecture, infrastructure, and application teams.
• Review security designs and maintain appropriate design governance, traceability, and exception handling
• Develop, review, and approve security requirements for LAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, router, and related network technologies
• Evaluate business requirements and determine appropriate security protocols and controls.
• Review existing security measures and identify required enhancements.
• Conduct security testing and monitoring and support validation through appropriate test scripts.
• Support vendor and procurement activities associated with security solutions
• Maintain awareness of emerging security practices, standards, and technologies.
• Support team capability through regular feedback, coaching, knowledge sharing, and onboarding activities.
